Moving from Talk to Action

I’ve been writing here for better than 5 years, posting my own material, and finding some of the better articles out there on the web to repost. In that time, I’ve gone through many changes, from ranting and raving about a war based on lies, to being beat up by the police for daring to document their brutality, to being alternately hopeful and despondent over the state of the world.

In the last two or three years, I have been working on changing the things I can, working locally, getting involved in grassroots movements. Today, I’m rolling out a new website, Cascadia Commons a site for information and discussion of the future of the Northwest. Place-based, we work on issues of our bioregion, including ecology, economics, energy, social issues, transportation and more.
