Purpose

We want to spread the awareness of the unique nature of the Pacific Northwest, where people have always blazed their own trails. We hold that it is once again time to consider our commonwealth, to speak for a sustainable future separate from the suicidal path of environmental, spiritual and societal destruction inherent in the rise of the corporate state.

New World Odor

Well, it looks like Bush has his new war. This morning I saw a sign in the back window of a van that read: “Nuke Iraq, and while we’re at it, N. Korea, France and Germany”. Yep, it’s started.

I heard this morning a statement by an official in FEMA back east that in case of a “red alert” being declared, anyone expressing dissent can be charged with treason and anyone participating in a protest action will be deemed a terrorist. This means they can be held incommunicado and denied access to legal help. Just like the prisoners in Guantanamo Bay. Book your “tiger cage” now!

Today, I am utterly ashamed to live in this country.
